Back to School

Welcome to our February Blog hop. This month our challenge was "Back to....". And it was easy as my children are now back in school!! If you have come from Wendy's page then you are on the right Blog Hop.

Wow don't we remember those days when you were so excited to go back and see all of your friends!!  My children were super excited on their first day!!

My daughter helped to pick out which pattern we were going to use with the school photos. We used the Artistry Cricut cartridge, page 33. It was great to be able to fill the page and then use both the insert (right page) and the leftover edge (left page). This way both of the pages were linked together.

Our school colours are navy, red and white! I purposely left the right side blank so that I could journal about their excitement! The Cranberry strip behind the photos really complements the Sapphire background.

Oh I had so much fun using Alphabet stamps that came with the Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge. Yes I purposely put the "a" backwards and it is all over the place as that is often how their school work comes home!! Also used the zero for an extra O!!

This was and easy finish to the double page spread, mounted each photo onto Cranberry card stock, stuck the alphabet background down with duck tape then the photos on top!

I hope you have enjoyed these pages and now you can click on over to Alision's page.

See you next time. Cindy
